Cat Adoption Meet & Greet Event with the Humane Society of Bergen County
Select cats will be brought from the Humane Society of Bergen County for prospective pet parents to meet!
Individuals who complete the adoption requirements before the event will be eligible for same-day adoptions.
Cat Adoption Requirements:
- Completed adoption application (available to download below)
- Proof of residency
- For renters: lease or letter from landlord stating that pets are okay
- For owners: tax bill or mortgage statement
- Adoption fee of $180 cash or credit card (4% transaction fee for credit cards)
- Cat carrier must be brought to take home a cat
- At least 21 years old
