The 2025 Summer Reading program has been generously funded by a grant from The William H. and Judith C. Turner Family Foundation.

On July 1st, celebrate the start of the 2025 Summer Reading Club with a day full of fun performances for littles, kids and teens!  See below for a full schedule of events!

Schedule of Activities and Events:

The Bubble, Comedy and Music Show: Reading Colors Your World! (All ages)

11 a.m.-12 p.m., Auditorium

The Bubble, Comedy and Music Show: Reading Colors Your World! is a colorful “turtle-riffic” musical experience that is designed to engage children through songs about colors, movement activities, children’s stories about colors, and interactive music technology where colors make MUSIC! The show is crafted to be inclusive for all children, including children on the Autism Spectrum, and a great time for parents and caregivers! Each song in this high energy show is accompanied by hands-on, visual, and sensory experiences designed to help kids learn and have fun at the same time. Make sure to enroll in the Summer Reading Club after the show!

Reading Magic Show with Islandmagic (All Ages)

1:30-2:30 p.m., Auditorium
Master magician ISLANDMAGIC will mesmerize with his fast moving card tricks, mind games, and beautiful white dove production in this Caribbean-infused show with soca and reggae beats. No registration required, but space is limited. Make sure to enroll in the Summer Reading Club after the show!

2:45-3:15 pm, Auditorium

Family Karaoke with Mr. Jeff!

Primetime Gaming Truck for Tweens and Teens (6th - 12th graders)

4-6 p.m., Library Outdoor Event
Celebrate the start of Summer Reading with a visit from our friends, Primetime Gaming – their video game truck will be visiting the Library from 4pm to 6pm!
They’re bringing a wide selection of games for you to play with your friends! You won’t want to miss it.
