WWII History Class (Second Course)
The World War II History class meets monthly to discuss various themes. This is the second course for World War II and will focus on some of the key personalities of World War II and their leadership skills. Attendance at previous sessions is not required. Meetings are held on the first Monday of the month at 7:00pm in the South Reading Room unless otherwise noted. The current schedule is:
- Tuesday, September 8, 2026: Franklin Roosevelt: The Moral Fortitude to Never Countenance Defeat
- Monday, October 5, 2026: Winston Churchill: In Defeat, Defiance
- Monday, November 2, 2026: George Marshall: The Ability to Make Hard Choices
- Monday, December 7, 2026: Admirals Nimitz and Spruance: When Cool Judgement Trumps Heroics.
