Eco Book Club
If you enjoy reading and care about the environment, join Eco Book Club hosted by Teaneck Creek Conservancy and Teaneck Public Library! Eco Book Club meets monthly to read, share, learn and discuss a variety of environmental and nature-themed books and topics. For the September meeting, members will be reading and discussing Walden, or Life in the Woods by Henry David Thoreau, his classic autobiographical account of his experiment in solitary living, his refusal to play by the rules of hard work and the accumulation of wealth, and above all the freedom it gave him to adapt his living to the natural world around him.
