Join Monmouth University Specialist Professor of Public History Dr. Melissa Ziobro as she explores the history of New Jersey’s “Dollar Princesses.” Like Downton Abbey’s fictitious Cora Crawley, these New Jersey women of great wealth but less social standing married into the aristocratic families of Europe who, despite their inherited titles, were losing their economic security at the turn of the twentieth century.
