Community Mentorship: Transforming Our Youth (with special guest LaTrenda Ross)
Are you looking for ways to contribute to your community and make a difference? We'll have local teachers, firefighters, policemen and women talk about their careers and provide support, guidance, and opportunities to help our youth succeed in life and meet their goals. Join us in the Hoboken Housing Authority Community Room at 411 Marshall Dr where refreshments and music will also be provided.
A native of Hoboken, LaTrenda Ross grew up in the Hoboken Housing Authority before moving to Jersey City two years ago. LaTrenda has been dedicated to the field of social/human services for almost three decades. According to her, change must begin with you. You can create the lifestyle that works best for you by taking small steps or making larger ones. She is also the CEO/Founder of Trending Into A New Life, LLC, which is a life coaching business, and she volunteers for several community organizations. They include the positions of President of the Hudson County Community College Alumni Association and President of the International Association of Women. She is the chair of the Hudson County Food & Shelter Coalition and a member of Garden State Leaders. Her favorite activities include shopping, dancing, and sight-seeing.
