Film Screening: The Right to Read

Film Screening: The Right to Read

In honor of Dyslexia Awareness Month, the library is hosting a free film screening and discussion for parents, educators, students, and anyone who is interested in literacy and children's right to education. The Right to Read shares the stories of an NAACP activist, a teacher, and two American families who fight to provide our youngest generation with the most foundational indicator of life-long success: the ability to read.

If you, your child, or your students experience dyslexia or reading challenges, we invite you to learn and discuss as a community! Come pick up free resources, a reading list, and free children’s books.

Light refreshments will be provided.
