Make Music Englewood!
The Englewood Public Library is pleased to announce their participation in the community-wide Make Music Englewood, a family friendly celebration of music featuring music makers far and wide. The event will take place on Wednesday, June 21 from approximately 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the library, and 7-10 at Veteran’s Park (tentative).
Attendees will need to bring their own chairs and/or blankets.
The library is actively seeking music makers who want to be part of this fun and festive day. Music makers of all ages and levels who wish to volunteer their services for free are welcome. Those interested in signing up and performing on that day can go to the event website at https://www.makemusicday.org/englewood/
Make Music Englewood is North New Jersey’s installment of Make Music Day, a worldwide celebration held every June 21st in over 1,000 locations in 120 countries, modeled after La Fête de la Musique which began in the 1980s to showcase the rich musical culture of Paris. As with all Make Music Day events, Make Music Englewood is free to the public.
