CELEBRATE LIBRARY MONTH AT THE LIBRARY! 

Visit us all month long to join in on special programs and events, and don’t miss National Library Week (April 24-29) for super special services! This year’s National Library Week theme is “There’s More to the Story”.

- Check out any item with “library” in the title and enjoy a sweet treat, on us!
- Check out 5 or more DVDS/BLU RAYS and get a free popcorn packet!

- FINE AMNESTY is back! Only applicable to Hasbrouck Heights-owned items. Clear your card and take advantage of the amazing resources your library has to offer. 

SPECIAL LIBRARY MONTH EVENTS:
- Start off National Library Week at Friday’s Movie Matinee showing “The Public” on Friday, April 21  at 1:00 pm. Light refreshments provided.
- With this year’s theme being “There’s More to the Story”, kids and teens are invited to Create their own DIY Twig ‘Zine on April 24 from 4:00 - 5:00 pm. Registration required.
- Celebrate Arbor Day with us and the Hasbrouck Heights Green Team! Meet us under the Woodland Park Pavilion, April 29, 2023 from 10 am - 12:30 pm to celebrate Arbor Day and learn how to identify the trees of Bergen County! The event is open to all and families are welcome! There will be a special presentation by Laura Jean Checki, an Environmental Specialist from the Bergen County Department of Health. Participants will engage in hands-on activities and evaluate the trees that they observe and how to correctly identify coniferous and deciduous tree species they encounter. There will also be fun activities such as Story Time with Ms. Maureen and a Scavenger Hunt. Please register on our website hhgreenteam.org.
