  • Protecting your income during retirement
  • Addressing rising health care and long-term medical care costs

John O'Hara writes: As an Edward Jones financial advisor, my focus is a one-on-one relationship with
you and your family. I believe it’s important to invest my time to understand what
is important to you. Then, by partnering with you and using an established
process, we can build a tailor-made, long-term strategy that will help you achieve
your goals. I believe in working closely with you and your team of professionals to
help determine the most appropriate financial strategy for you and your family.
Whether it is saving for retirement, living in retirement, saving for college,
preparing for the unexpected or tax mitigation on your investments, my goal is to
find a personalized strategy that will help you reach your long-term financial
objectives.
I began my career at Edward Jones in February of 2017 and am currently located
in the Caldwells. Prior to Edward Jones, I spent over 25 years working in the
securities industry as an institutional broker, focusing on structured financial
products and mortgage-backed securities.
I attended W. Paul Stillman School of Business at Seton Hall University, receiving
my MBA in international finance and graduating summa cum laude in 1999. My
undergraduate education was at Villanova University, where I received my BA in
1987.
On the personal side, I have been married for over 30 years and have four grown
children, the youngest being 19. I have found the life experience garnered raising
four children has been invaluable in helping clients plan and prepare for their
futures. I love spending time at the beach; whether it is on the water or in it, I am
at home. Lastly, as an active member of the local Rotary Club, I firmly believe in
serving the communities I live and work in.
I believe in helping people. Organizing and coordinating your finances to help you
better achieve your long-term goals is something I feel strongly about. I would like
to help to provide the answers to your questions so you can make informed,
financially sound decisions. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your
situation and options.
