Go Foraging with the "Wildman"

Learn about edible and medicinal wild plants with America's go-to guy for foraging, "Wildman" Steve Brill. The naturalist will bring in herbs, greens, flowers, and roots of mid-spring, which will be passed around for you to try, as he discusses how to recognize them, identify them with certainty, and use them in the kitchen. Original art and photos will show you how the plants change throughout the seasons. The demo will be followed by a tour of the grounds, so be dressed appropriately (no open shoes where they may be ticks and poison ivy). Bring plastic bags for veggies & herbs, a paper bag, in case we find mushrooms, which spoil in plastic. A digging implement will allow you to dig up delicious roots.
