Nelson Riveros Latin-Jazz Quartet
Nelson Riveros is an acclaimed guitarist and composer who embodies the very idea of cultural fusion.
Born in New York to Colombian parents, Riveros grew up learning about the music and cultures of the Americas.
Nelson Riveros has performed and recorded with Grammy nominated pianist Hector Martignon, Grammy-winning bassist John Benitez, and Samuel Torres, Louis Bonilla, Alfredo De La Fe, Adela Dalto.
Nelson's first CD, "Camino Al Barrio", was a contemporary jazz recording with diverse Latin influences, which reached #8 on the Jazz Week World Music Chart.
