Tenafly Singers Chorus: "Year of the Dragon" Concert
Tenafly Singers is happy to celebrate the Chinese New Year of the Dragon and Valentine’s Day with the community!
Chinese songs include the familiar "Teresa Teng Suite" and "Love Goddess Suite"; English love songs include the Greatest Showman "Never Enough" and the timeless old song "Fly me to the moon" to express mutual love. Come enjoy the Grammy Award-winning composer Eric Whitacre's "Seal Lullaby" and classical music of Mozart's " Ave Verum Corpus", Bach's "Air on G String". The finale will be the "Descendants of the Dragon" for the grand Lunar New Year celebration to wish everyone good luck in the Year of the Dragon!
Tenafly Singers Chorus was established in 2007. Currently, teacher Michelle Zhang is the conductor and teacher Robert Tsai is the piano accompanist. The choir practices singing at the Tenafly Senior Center on Fridays at 7pm. Friends who love singing are welcome to join.
