SENIOR CENTER: Remember the Ladies: Women and the American Revolution
This program will be held in the Senior Center located at 628 Rivervale Rd.
Historian Joel Farkas presents a comprehensive look at the lives of women in the American Revolution. From the expectations of women to their legal rights, their role in health and medicine, to an in-depth look at the “First Ladies” of the time period like Martha Washington and Abigail Adams, this is a must-see exploration into the lives of the women who played a crucial role in the founding of our country.
