James Austin Jr. Trio
The James Austin Jr. Trio will perform “Songs in the Key of Wonder and More," Austin's acclaimed instrumental arrangements of a selection of classic compositions from the songbook of the great Stevie Wonder. In addition to these songs, the trio will mix in other jazz standards over the course of the performance.
This concert is part of a Black History Month event organized in partnership with the West Orange African Heritage Organization. Come early and stay after to learn about HBCUs, view legacy exhibits, meet West Orange "firsts" and sample delicious snacks.
This event is made possible by funds from the Essex County Division of Cultural Affairs, a partner of the New Jersey State Council on the Arts.
