Pick up requested items, browse from a rotating collection of books, get a library card, and learn how to borrow ebooks & more with your card!

Pick Up Requested Items

• Request an item online (bccls.org) or by calling the library.
• Select Hackensack - JPL Pop-Up Library as your Pickup Library.
• You’ll be notified when your item is available.
• Pick up your item at the JPL Pop-Up Library during its weekly hours, or at JPL during library hours.

Browse the Collection

Borrow from a rotating selection of great books - fiction, non-fiction, biographies, children's books, Spanish language books, and more!

Get a Library Card

Show proof of your Hackensack address to get or renew a card! You can bring:

• Driver’s license or a State ID
• Lease
• Utility Bill
• Tax Document
• Bank Statement
• An envelope that has a current postmark and date, and which has your name and Hackensack address.
