The Art of Listening: An Indian Classical Music Appreciation Workshop
Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month with a brand new music workshop from Kulture Kool. Indian classical music is one of the most evolved and intelligent genres of music, often found mystifying by those who don’t understand its dynamics and structure (think jazz or western classical music). Once you understand it, it’s very enjoyable and soulful and transcends language barriers.
Refreshments will be served from 1:30-2pm, and the workshop begins at 2. Plenty of time for Q&A will be provided. Registration is required. This workshop is geared towards teens and adults.
