Learn about: traditional scams and trending scams; imposter, romance, gift card, and Al scams; fake ads and phishing; how to protect your property and what to watch out for regarding skimming devices; ow to protect your identity and what to do if you believe you are a victim of identity theft.
A Bergen & Passaic County Division of Consumer Affairs representative will discuss how to report a complaint to our office. We can also discuss how to file a complaint in small claims court and the role of the Better Business Bureau which is different from our role.
