Supported Devices:

• • Tablets and mobile phones (Android and Apple)

  • Requires Minecraft purchase from the app store

• Windows and Mac Laptops

  • Purchase of Minecraft is not required, the game is a free download.

• Personal Chromebooks

  • Minecraft is either free (with a complex install process)

  • Or paid (from the Google Play Store with an easy install process).

• Nintendo Switch

  • Participants must already own Minecraft and have a Nintendo Online account. Due to device limitations, we cannot provide these.

NOT Supported:

• School Issued Chromebooks

Set-up details

1. Minecraft Download For Patrons' Devices: Please ensure parents have downloaded Minecraft beforehand. You can share these setup instructions for Java devices (MacBookPro, Windows), Bedrock devices (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS, Chromebook), and the Nintendo Switch in our setup guides available here: TD3IG Minecraft Device Setup. 

2. Minecraft Accounts: If patrons have their own Minecraft account, we recommend they use their own. Otherwise, we will provide accounts for each patron at the beginning of the program.
