Heather Corey will instruct a hands-on class and invite students to explore color and experiment with painting on canvas. Beginner students will learn step-by-step how to obtain the basic skills of color mixing and painting on canvas, and intermediate/advanced students will have the opportunity to hone their skills and create three dimensional qualities in their paintings. With an emphasis on light, students will bring their paintings to life by combining various colors, tinting (adding white) and painting shadows. Participants are encouraged to bring their own paintings or start anew. All materials will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own. Class will end with a brief critique. Create together and meet new people!  

Glen Rock Public Library cardholders will have priority in registration. Limited to 15 participants.
