Concert: Guitarist Tony Aglione
Guitarist Tony Aglione returns to the Englewood Public Library on Saturday, November 9 at 3 p.m. in the Mackay Room.
Tony Aglione is a critically acclaimed instrumental guitarist whose original compositions can be found on all streaming outlets. His eclectic style has been described as “a poetically charged combination of jazz, blues, flamenco, and Americana. Tony’s solo performances consist of selections taken from his two previously released CDs (Plum Village, Life), as well as his exciting lush and colorful new music. In this personal and intimate live setting, one can truly appreciate the level of passion from which his musical creations arise.
Tony’s goal has always been to create a beautiful musical background for the human spirit to soar through, and to bring a sense of peace and love to all his listeners. Since Tony first started playing guitar, he as always wanted to bring some good to the world through his musical creations. Through the years, all money generated through CD sales, online downloads, merchandise, and even tips has been donated to charitable organizations. Additionally, Tony have been providing volunteer music therapy for almost 25 years.
