Glenn Weber: New Jersey School of Percussion

Glenn Weber: New Jersey School of Percussion

Being able to hit an instrument with the proper amount of force at the precise location and time requires practice, which makes being a percussionist a difficult job. Glenn Webber will demonstrate a variety of instruments to the audience in attendance.

Glenn Weber established the New Jersey School of Percussion more than 40 years ago and has been instructing drums and percussion for more than 50 years. Glenn has taught at William Paterson University, the Delbarton School in Morristown, New Jersey, the Montclair School in Montclair, New Jersey, and Fairleigh Dickinson University. He spent twelve years teaching percussion at Seton Hall University.

In addition to the Glenn Miller Orchestra, Glenn has performed with many club dates and show bands. He has also collaborated with Bobby Hackett, the New Jersey Pops Orchestra, the Joe Carson Big Band, the Garden State Concert Band, LaBamba and the Hubcaps, the North Jersey Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra. He has played on numerous CDs and directed his own jazz ensemble for many years.
