Virtual Mindfulness: Understanding Our Nervous System for Healing

Virtual Mindfulness: Understanding Our Nervous System for Healing

Stress affects the body, particularly the autonomic nervous system, which regulates breathing, heart rate, blood pressure, and digestion. Understanding how to regulate your nervous system can help manage stress, enhance well-being, and promote balance. Each class starts with an introduction to theory and brain science, followed by a short gentle movement practice and a mindfulness meditation. Time for questions and discussion will be provided at the end. Classes are held each Saturday morning; come for one or all.

Registration is required. Please sign up here to receive the Zoom link.
