Friends Friday: The Unforgettable Mae West
One of our favorite entertainment historians takes a hilarious look at the humor of the unforgettable Mae West, one of the most popular and controversial stars of the stage and Hollywood! Her risqué wit delighted fans, but angered Hollywood censors. She is quoted as saying "I believe in censorship, I made a fortune out of it". It’s a fun way to start the “National Humor Month” of April.
This event will be held in the the Municipal Building North Entrance, first floor Council Chamber, at 818 Teaneck Road (next to the Library.)
This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Teaneck Public Library. Information on joining the Friends is available at https://teanecklibrary.org/friends/.
