Teen Financial Literacy Workshop: Things to do at 18!

What to do when you're 18 to set yourself up for financial success. 

 

  • Bank accounts and credit cards - "debit or credit?"
  • Setting financial goals
  • Understanding taxes - tax filing simulation
  • An overview of insurance policies
  • Opening a Roth IRA
  • Investing - stocks, bonds, and mutual funds

 

This workshop will be taught by students from the "Educate and Empower" group from Bergen County Academies.
