Join Certified Yoga Instructor Lorig Hamparian for Yoga Nidra at the library.
 
Yoga nidra is a powerful meditation technique that is very easy to follow. Anyone from children to seniors can do it. All your body needs to do is lie down or be in preferred, a seated position.
There are many benefits of yoga nidra or yogic sleep. Some include entering a profound state of deep relaxation, calming anxiety and stress levels, releasing tension and pain, and enhancing cognition.
 
We'll start with some gentle movement so you'll want to wear comfortable and loose clothing.
Please bring: a mat and any blankets or cushions that you might like to make yourself comfortable.
