Author Talk Series: Jamik Ligon
Join River Vale local, Jamik Ligon, for a talk about his memoir, every runner, every day.
every runner, every day tells the story of a man from a neighborhood with the slogan “Brownsville, never ran, never will” who discovered a love of running. An inspiring journey with glimpses into failure and perseverance; it offers proof that to be a runner all one has to do is run.
Jamik Ligon is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) as well as a Certified Speed Specialist. Coach Jamik has finished 36 marathons and over 150 road races. He has a Bachelors Degree from Columbia University. Jamik was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He now lives in New Jersey with his wife and two children.
