Musician bios:
Sunny Oh, violin, is a first-year resident in the Periodontics department at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. Since starting dental school at Columbia four years ago, she has been actively involved in Musical Mondays and the CUIMC Symphony Orchestra. Additionally, she has participated in chamber ensembles through the Music Performance Program on the Morningside campus, with her group making its debut at Carnegie Hall last year.
Brock Bishop, piano, began studying piano at the age of eight with Sylvia Scott and Karen Taylor before continuing his training with Evelyne Brancart at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. He has performed in masterclasses with renowned artists such as Sara Daneshpour, Christopher Harding, and Logan Skelton. An experienced choral accompanist, he has accompanied choirs since eighth grade, continuing throughout his university years. Currently, he performs at various CUMC and local events and serves as the organizer of the Musicians' Guild's Musical Mondays concert series. A second-year student at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, he enjoys lifting weights and reading when he’s not at the piano.
