Youth Code Club
This is a blend of a walk-in help session for Fiero Code users and a dedicated space to practice coding with the platform. Our tech guy, Geo, will be present to answer any questions and make sure everyone has what they need to get started. All levels are welcome. Please bring your own laptop/chromebook and headphones at this time, as we don't have dedicated coding machines just yet. Additionally, if your child is under 10 years old, they will need to have a caregiver present with them at the library. Kids cannot be in the library alone until the age of 11.
Registration is not required to be present at the meetings, but you WILL need to sign up for Fiero Code!
Remember to bring a valid Demarest library card to set up an account. The kids will have to create their own username and password to log in, so it should be something they can remember easily. If there are any issues or questions, please email Mr Geo at geo.von.griffin@demarest.bccls.org!
