Beginner Python Club
**ONE REGISTRATION IS GOOD FOR ALL EIGHT SESSIONS**
Want to learn how to code, but don’t know where to start? This program is a great opportunity for you! Open to middle schoolers, this program will teach them the basics of Python, including print and input statements, conditionals, loops, functions and lists. We will use these skills to create fun projects, like a calculator, a text-based
adventure game, and even a Hangman game!
This club is led/taught by a Glen Rock High School student and will run on Thursdays from 5:30pm-6:30pm for 8 weeks beginning February 13th.
Materials: A Windows (10 or 11) or Mac laptop. Beforehand, please download the IDE VSCode (https://code.visualstudio.com/) and Python 3.13 (https://www.python.org/downloads/) Students must bring their own laptop.
