Laura Freedgood has published three poetry chapbooks:  What I Would Paint If I Could (2012), Slant of the Heart  (2010), and Weather Report (2007).  Her poems appear in Lips, Hawai’i Pacific Review, Wisconsin Review, Journal of New Jersey Review, The Stillwater Review, and many other journals.  Her work can be found in anthologies ( On the Verge: Poets of the Palisades II  and III, Patterson Literary Review, and more). Nominated twice for The Pushcart Prize, she was awarded a poetry grant from the City University of New York, where she worked as an Assistant Professor. She currently teaches poetry writing workshops at The Adult School of Montclair.

Denise La Neve is the author of a new poetry collection entitled Half-Lives of the Radium Girls (2024), published by the Poets Press (www.poetspress.org/). She was a contributor and editor for a trilogy of “Poets of the Palisades” anthologies: Beyond the Rift (2010), META-LAND (2016), and On the Verge (2020). Her work has also appeared in journals, most recently The Stillwater Review (Spring 2025). Denise co-hosts The High Mountain Meadow Poetry Series in Wayne, New Jersey.

New Jersey born, raised, and resident, including Montclair, Susanna Rich is the author of five poetry collections: Beware the House: Shout: Poetry for Suffrage, Surfing for Jesus, The Drive Home, and Television Daddy. As founding producer of Wild Nights Productions, LLC, she tours one-woman poetry performances, ashes, ashes: A Poet Responds to the Holocaust, and her musical, Shakespeare’s *itches: The Women v. Will. She was nominated for two Emmy Awards for her work in poetry and received the Presidential Excellence Award for Distinguished Teaching at Kean University.
