50 Pies, 50 States: A Discussion with Baker Stacey Mei Yan Fong

Join baker Stacey Mei Yan Fong as she discusses her newest cookbook, 50 Pies, 50 States, with librarian Kerri Sullivan. Stacey will share stories about baking, discovering regional recipes, and how her book is a love letter to America. A copy of Stacey's cookbook will be raffled off to one lucky winner! This program will take place in the Library Activity Room.

Stacey Mei Yan Fong is a home baker and IACP Cookbook Award Winner living in Brooklyn, NY. She was born in Singapore, lived in Indonesia, grew up in Hong Kong, and moved to the States to pursue a degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She spent a decade designing in the fashion industry, and during that time she launched her "50 Pies 50 States" project which led to her slinging pies at Four and Twenty Blackbirds Pie Shop. Now, her pies have been featured by Good Morning America, CBS Sunday Morning, NPR, Eater, and beyond. 50 Pies, 50 States is her debut cookbook.

Kerri Sullivan is the editor of New Jersey Fan Club, an anthology about New Jersey published by Rutgers University Press, and the founder of Jersey Collective.
