Cancelled--African Drum Lessons with Mounanou Badíla
On Tues. March 4 and Monday, March 24, Englewood resident will give instruction in African Drumming.
Englewood resident Mounanou Badíla has over 20 years of experience performing and teaching traditional Congolese songs and dances with djembe drums and other African instruments.
Among the many benefits include Improving short term memory, enhanced coordination, stress relief, self-esteem and communications skills.
We have a limited number of drums available, so registration is limited to 6 drums, although there might also be some other instruments so you can join in for those on the waiting list.
If you can bring your own drum, you can attend without registering, leaving that spot for someone else.
