ICA Chess Class (grades 2-5)
Program Details
- Join an experienced International Chess Academy (ICA) instructor for an exciting hour of chess fun! The program will begin with an engaging lesson on chess strategy, including important tactics and techniques to help the kids improve their game. After the lesson, they’ll have the chance to apply what they’ve learned and play chess games with one another in a supportive social environment. Whether complete beginners or experienced chess enthusiasts, kids can develop critical thinking skills, challenge themselves, and have fun while enhancing their chess abilities.
Age Range
- This program is for grades 2-5.
Registration Required
- Each child must be registered individually to attend.
- Children’s programs are limited to Upper Saddle River Library card-holders.
Photography Notice
- Photographs and/or video may be taken at this event. By taking part in this event, you grant the Upper Saddle River Library full rights to use the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes.
