Breaking the Silence: Advocating for Mental Health Awareness and Support

Join Ozzie Nevenansky, a sophomore at Lynn University, for an insightful presentation on mental health advocacy. Drawing from his personal struggles with mental health since the age of 10, Ozzie aims to destigmatize mental health, encourage seeking help, and share valuable coping strategies like meditation, exercise, and songwriting.

Key topics include:

  • Ozzie's early struggles and how they shaped his understanding of mental health
  • The importance of reaching out for support
  • Coping skills to manage mental health
  • Mental health statistics and the need to break the stigma
  • Barriers to accessing mental health resources

This event encourages open dialogue and aims to raise awareness about mental health in our communities. The presentation will end with a Q&A session for deeper discussion. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn, connect, and advocate for mental health.
