Open Book, Open Mind; Jacob Silverman, "Gilded Rage: Elon Musk and the Radicalization of Silicon Valley"
This program is full--but we'll put you on a standby list if you come to the auditorium at 6 p.m. Guests without registrations will be seated at 6:35.
New York Times bestselling author Jacob Silverman talks to top tech journalist Jon Fortt of CNBC about his investigation into the billionaires who increasingly run our lives. Media sponsor: The Jersey Bee.
“In Gilded Rage, Jacob Silverman delivers a clear-eyed anatomy of tech-addled delusion that has stubbornly eluded our media and political establishment for more than thirty years. Along the way, he recounts how the libertarian ethos of Silicon Valley has curdled into a frontal assault on our democracy.” ―The Nation
Doors open at 6 p.m. The discussion will be followed by an audience Q&A and book sales and signing with Watchung Booksellers.
