Beginner Guitar Lessons
October 7, 14, 21, 28, November 4, 11 7pm-8:30pm (Tuesdays)
Have you always wanted to learn guitar, but didn’t know how to start? Did you start learning years ago and just want to get a refresher? This six-week program will cover holding a pick, fingering chords, and basic strumming patterns. With a little bit of luck, we’ll even have time to learn a few songs and maybe even get into some fingerpicking. Registration opens on September 22.
Each session builds on the skills acquired from the last, so please be prepared to attend all six sessions. Also, if you are uncertain about the condition of your instrument, make an appointment (adultservices@paramus.bccls.org or 201-599-1305) to bring it to the Adult Services department (at least a week before the first session), and we’ll make sure it is ready to go for the first class.
