Book Discussion and Philosophy Club, Ages 6-10

Registration required. Register once for all classes.

Each session includes sharing a book followed by a discussion on the themes of the book and their meaning.

September 6 - The theme of Friendship will be discussed after sharing Amos & Boris, by William Steig

September 20 - The themes of knowledge and trust will be discussed after sharing An Extraordinary Egg by Leo Lionni.

October 4 - The theme of freedom will be discussed after sharing The Big Box by Toni Morrison.

October 18 - The theme of dreams will be discussed after sharing some poems from The Dream Keeper by Langston Hughes.
