Tal Naccarato will play old-style ragtime and blues guitar after the fashion of such greats as Happy Traum and Dave Van Ronk. He delivers the classics of folks like Reverend Gary Davis ...and his own compositions in the same genre.

About the Artist,

He is a composer, songwriter, teaching artist, and instrumentalist who was born in the medieval mountain village of Fiumefreddo Bruzio in Calabria, Italy, and raised in East Flatbush, Brooklyn. His stylized original work, highlighting a deep appreciation for traditional Folk and Americana Roots music, is steeped heavily in Rock and Blues and includes his original classical guitar inspired compositions, performed with a 'bluesy swing’.

Tal most recently won the 'Long Island Blues Society's' 2023 Solo/Duo Competition to compete in 'The Blues Foundation International Worldwide Blues Challenge’ on Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee, 2023, and was also recently featured as a solo acoustic performer at the famed 'MerleFest' Festival in North Carolina and has since taken his place amongst the very best players worldwide.
