Making Words (Grades K-2)
Try out this hands-on activity to practice word patterns, taking apart sounds, phonemic awareness and spelling.
Children will participate in an activity using letter tiles to practice phonics, phonemic awareness, word patterns and spelling. This fast-paced hands-on practice is great for mastering letter and sound relationships for stronger decoding skills. Let's see if we can figure out the mystery word at the end! If time allows, children will also have time to play word games or create a craft.
