'The Shoes' Play Reading
Come enjoy a reading of The Shoes before it hits the New York Theatre Festival (NYWinterfest) this winter!
The Shoes follows the story of Kent Warner, the man who changed the course of Hollywood history when he discovered Judy Garland's iconic ruby slippers from The Wizard of Oz hidden away in storage. Yet, behind the glitz and glamour of showbiz, Kent struggled with his identity, a sense of belonging, and the search for love—often using his passion for classic cinema to escape his own reality.
In a world of good and bad witches, of empty heads and aching hearts, Kent ultimately proved to be the courage at the center of it all.
