CANCELLED: Protecting Your Financial Future: FINRA Investor Advocacy Program

This event has been cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Want to protect your financial future? This presentation is designed to help individuals guard against financial fraud and to make informed decisions before entrusting your money with financial professionals. Participants will leave with a basic understanding of how to spot red flags, an overview of investor rights, and insight into what the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority ("FINRA") is and how it can help investors when problems arise.

Andrew Marino is a 2026 J.D. Candidate at Seton Hall University School of Law and a Student Advocate for the FINRA Investor Advocacy Program (“IAP”). He is a life-long resident of New Jersey and graduated from Denison University. Mr. Marino has worked as a judicial intern for the District Court of New Jersey, as well as a Summer Associate for a New Jersey firm. Mr. Marino also serves as a Senior Editor for the Seton Hall Law Review.

This free, 45-minute presentation is for educational purposes and does not sell or recommend any financial services. The FINRA IAP is one of 10 securities arbitration clinics throughout the United States. The FINRA IAP program at Seton Hall is a pro bono program, which provides free legal representation to New Jersey residents of modest means with securities fraud claims. The IAP was established by a grant from FINRA.
