Our Journeys: A Storytelling Workshop
Join us for an interactive workshop that honors intergenerational storytelling, preserves community voices, and connects participants through shared reflections. Through photo prompts participants of all backgrounds will explore ways to document family journeys. A storytelling workbook, courtesy of Quill Hawk Publishing, will be given to participants to continue documenting their family stories at home. Free to participate!
Facilitator:
Tracey Nguyễn Mang is the founder of nonprofit organization, Vietnamese Boat People (VBP) and a real estate professional based in Montclair NJ. Inspired by her family’s journey, she created VBP to preserve the stories of Vietnamese refugees and amplify voices often left out of mainstream narratives. Through storytelling, she seeks to foster empathy, bridge generations, and build understanding across cultures.
