Join us for the inaugural program in Lee Memorial Library’s concert series, The Beat of America: 250 Years of Music, a celebration of the diverse musical traditions that have shaped the American experience. Award-winning guitarist, songwriter, and educator Tal Naccarato opens the series with an acoustic concert featuring a captivating blend of original compositions and traditional Folk, Blues, and Americana music, all infused with his distinctive bluesy swing and masterful guitar work.

More than a concert, this engaging presentation explores the history and evolution of American roots music through live performance and storytelling. Tal showcases rare vintage instruments, offering audiences a unique glimpse into the sounds, craftsmanship, and musical traditions that helped shape the Folk-Blues and Americana genres and their enduring influence on American music.

Artist Bio

Tal Naccarato is an award-winning composer, songwriter, guitarist, and teaching artist whose heritage spans from the medieval hill town of Fiumefreddo Bruzio, Italy, to the vibrant neighborhoods of East Flatbush, Brooklyn. His original music blends Folk, Americana, Rock, and Blues traditions with classical guitar influences and a signature blues-infused style.

Recognized for his compelling performances and musicianship, Tal earned top honors at the 2023 Long Island Blues Society Solo/Duo Competition. Whether performing original works or traditional repertoire, he brings authenticity, artistry, and a deep knowledge of American roots music to every stage, creating engaging musical experiences that entertain, educate, and inspire.
