He explores the work of Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, CSNY, Joni Mitchell,Grateful Dead lyricist Robert Hunter
and others. He does a reading of the lyrics, and then plays the actual song. Mr. McGee encourages the audience to interpret and discuss the lyrics.
