Starting Plants from Seed (Spring Gardening Series)

This is the first workshop in our 3 part spring gardening series, in collaboration with the Master Gardeners of Essex County.

All sessions are hands-on and will be led by Master Gardener, Fran Kroeckel.  They run from 11.00 am-12.30 pm.

Session 1 will show you the proper way to sow plant seeds and experience the joy of "starting your garden from scratch"

Session 2 on Transplanting (how to transplant young seedlings and ensure successful growth) is on April 3rd.

Session 3 on Soils and Fertilizers (soil care and maintenance, and the appropriate use of fertilizers) is on May 3rd.

All materials will be provided; space is limited; open to Livingston Library card holders.
