Open Mic Night Featuring Cello Poems

The last (usually) Thursday of every month come out to showcase YOUR TALENT and enjoy top notch featured performers. Show up for one or both parts of the night and enjoy! Light refreshments available.

Open Mic: approx 7-8:15 (parental discretion advised)
Featured Performer: approx. 8:15-8:50

Professional Cellist Daryl Goldberg and published Poet Steven Swank will combine original poetry with cello interludes. This weaving of the spoken word and the variety of repertoire selections create a unique dynamic.


Daryl performs at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and on Broadway with such orchestras as the New York Pops, American Ballet Theater, and The Lion King. Steve is the author of “The Horse Knows” and “Unfold” and has been published in the River River Anthology and River River Journal. Also an accomplished artist and puppeteer, he delights in creating images that engage and amuse. His work can be seen at creativeimperatives.com.
