Film Screening of Movie Queen
Join us at the library for a screening of Movie Queen, which features Bogota in 1940. Produced by Boston filmmaker Margaret Cram Showalter, this film was one of a series she made from 1935 to 1940 to promote local community. Councilman David MacFarlane will provide piano accompaniment to this silent film.
Borough Historian Henry Komorowski will also give a short talk on 1940s wartime civilian life with a special focus on Bogota.
