"History of American Women's Rights Movements"
Retired History professor Eugene Lieber will present a slide-lecture titled "History of American Women's Rights Movements" on Thursday, May 2 at 6:30 pm in the Community Room. This program will focus on suffrage efforts from colonial evangelical roles to Seneca Falls, NY in the mid-19th century to the early 20th century. Feminist activism in the 1960s and 70s to the current "me too" movement will also be explored during this overview of the historical peaks of organizing women.
