This year's Library Festival is a community-wide outreach event that celebrates the diversity of our community and showcases the many services the Library provides to the Mile Square city.  With activities for children, teens, and adults, it drives home the motto of the Library: "Opening minds since 1890."

Notable events include:

• The Pop Ups! is the duo of Brooklyn musicians Jason Rabinowitz and Jacob Stein, The Pop Ups have been setting the standard for children’s music since 2010. A celebration of making, building, and learning, their album 'Appetite for Construction' received a 2014 GRAMMY nomination for Best Children’s Album, alongside a National Parenting Publications Award, Parents’ Choice Award and praise from NPR's All Things Considered, 
• The Fun Bus is a delightful and fun-filled "gym on wheels" offering fitness FUN classes to preschool & childcare facilities with children ages 18 months - 7 years in a colorful, FUN and safe environment.
